What am I then, you might wonder?
I am a full blooded dreamer and some what introvert. My inner landscape wildly and widely surpass the real world's. I have a syndrome called Synestesi, it transforms sounds into images and shapes and sometimes colors, hence in my head words and sounds appear more like symbols than mening to me. I have the opportunity to practice with my syndrome when it comes to my work which I like. I also work as a chef and bar maid in a vegan café.

Brief, brief bio:
I was born and short there after I started to draw.

This was however not considered a particularly good quality so I was always pushed towards paths and educations that I was reluctant to. I still submitted to them though, so I have studied natural science, and I have a master in business and a certificate for typewriting (mandatory in case I had followed the advice to become a police officer). But I was so drawn to art that it was irresistible. Hence, I also went to art school and spent years specializing in stone carving and 3D modeling, I took graphic design courses, two years of leather crafting and a sewing pattern construction course too. After years in different art symposiums and workshops I had kids, two of them, and wanted to be with them rather than traveling around so much. So I set up a workshop with ceramics and started modeling clay and throwing pottery. I was teaching art at elementary school, in evening classes and in childrens' open workshops in the weekends, as well as participating in art projects, such as the (in-) famous Icehotel (in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden where I have been a returning artist since 2006) and different festivals, I was organizing summer art camps, and not the least working as set decorator for theatre groups, all this mainly in Sweden.
When we moved to the Netherlands in 2021 I sold everything I owned. After a few months I bought an iPad Pro with a pen and went completely digital. Now I dedicate my time to what I have been devoted to since I was born - drawing! Some of the results are showcased on this homepage.
PS. I also have pencils and paper since it is the best. Too.

Why laboratory?
LABORATORY means I want to experiment with styles and colors and shapes, take steps away from my comfort zone, accept work where I am challenged. It also means that I want to explore ways of collaboration and ways of working with my new tool and the programmes and apps within it. I like to picture myself as a nutty professor surrounded by all kinds of lab related and unrelated things, cooking up something juicy.
